Most programs want you to decide how long you wish to purchase the software license for and this will drastically alter the price. One of the things a buyer should consider is the popularity of the virus removal and protection software they are purchasing. More popular is not always the wisest choice in this market because the more popular the software the larger the chance that more viruses will be targeting that program.
Two of the more popular anti-virus software makers are Norton and McAfee and both offer a variety or prices and products to fit nearly every protection need for the average user’s computer. Both Norton and McAfee offer suites that will include anti-virus, firewalls, up to the minute updates, email filters both incoming and outgoing, home network monitoring and even PC tune-up programs. Some people swear by one program or the other and at the end of the day, the simple truth is that both protect your computer fairly well and differ mostly in look and quirks. Of course, these are not the end all and be all of anti-virus and protection software many others exist in the paid market, some are easier to use than others depending on your comfort zone with computers and software.
