Our House Of Many Memories: We Will Never Be Moving On Up
Comments OffWhile my friends and relatives keep moving onward and upward into larger homes, my 720 square foot house with a large yard gains more memories. I live in a very safe area – no need for cctv systems for the home whatsoever as we have no crime in this location. Surrounded by divided farm property, we enjoy seeing neighbors’ horses, goats and chickens, as well as wildlife. But we are in a Denver metro area convenient to work. Not everyone enjoys being attached to the small moments of life, but I have to accept that little reminders mean everything to me. Just need to look around and see things like scratches on wood window ledges to remember beloved cats, now long passed away. In the next room are the handmade pine shelves and a table created by my husband when he used to have more time. I feel we’ve earned our down-to-earth and friendly community, which was run down 19 years ago. A sweet couple just moved in next door and I’m happy for them as they renovate; starting to fill their small house with big memories.
